Mathieu Valbuena has said that his France teammate Karim Benzema “indirectly” told him he had to pay a ransom to retrieve a s*x-tape of him with his girlfriend.
Real Madrid star Benzema, 27, has been charged with complicity to blackmail Lyon star Valbuena over the tape, though his lawyer insists he is not guilty.

Le Monde newspaper asked Valbuena whether Benzema had urged him to meet the blackmailers.
“Incite, that means ‘you will have to pay’ indirectly,” Valbuena replied as he finally broke his silence on the affair.
“He was not aggressive in his manner of talking, he did not talk about money concretely, directly. But when someone insists that I meet someone … hmmmm,” he told Le Monde.
“I have never met anyone who is going to destroy a video for free just because they love me! You shouldn’t treat people like idiots,” Valbuena said.
“I am very very very disappointed and I can only note that my relations with Karim were not as sincere as he makes out,” he added.

Cesc Fabregas the ‘Rat’ who turned against Mourinho? Nothing could be further from the truth [Telegraph]

Jose Mourinho’s sacking at Chelsea has led to all sort of plot twists and intrigue. Far from a routine results-oriented sacking, there was a lot more to Mourinho’s sacking than meets the eye, the conspiracy theorists insist. A narrative of a dressing room mutiny has persisted throughout the season, and ultimately proved to be Mourinho’s downfall – again if you believe in the smoke and mirrors stuff.
