Nigeria will go into today’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying game with Swaziland on twinkle toes hoping to avoid an upset against a less fancied Sihlangu side which held them to a goalless draw in the first leg in Lobamba. Supersport writes.

The euphoria of the 3-0 win over Cameroun in last month’s friendly was wiped off by a lethargic display on the synthetic pitch of the Somholo National Stadium last week as the Eagles laboured to get ‘flying’.
Coach Sunday Oliseh will approach Tuesday’s game at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium (below) looking to cross the Sihlangu hurdle and get set for the draws of the final round of qualifying

However Swaziland won’t come easy as the first leg showed with Swaziland coach Harries Bulunga boasting his team can upset Nigeria and get into the final qualifying rounds because his team has a good away record.
“I believe we can do well in Nigeria considering our good away record. We are not going there as tourists but we are going to fight.”Bulunga said as the team prepared to depart for Nigeria for the second leg.
A tall order for a team placed 71 places behind the 2013 Afcon winners on the Fifa log but one which will send shock waves throughout the continent if the Sihlangu can conjure an upset.
Nigeria and Swaziland have only met once at full international level- the goalless draw in Lobamba the first time the two sides.
Tuesday’s clash will serve a sumptuous dish of attacking football because both sides will try to go for the kill with one eye on the final round of the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.

Cesc Fabregas the ‘Rat’ who turned against Mourinho? Nothing could be further from the truth [Telegraph]

Jose Mourinho’s sacking at Chelsea has led to all sort of plot twists and intrigue. Far from a routine results-oriented sacking, there was a lot more to Mourinho’s sacking than meets the eye, the conspiracy theorists insist. A narrative of a dressing room mutiny has persisted throughout the season, and ultimately proved to be Mourinho’s downfall – again if you believe in the smoke and mirrors stuff.
