PDP erred by fielding Jonathan as its presidential candidate- Dokpesi

 from lindaikeji blog
PDP Chieftain and chairman of Daar Communications owners of AIT, says that the former ruling party erred by fielding former president Goodluck Jonathan as their presidential candidate during the last election.
Dokpesi reportedly said this during a media chat with some newsmen in Abuja yesterday November 10th. He said the party made the first mistake when it failed to retain the party’s 2011 presidential ticket in the North after the death of former President Umaru Yar ‘Adua.

Dokpesi said the second mistake was making Jonathan the sole presidential candidate of the party in the 2015 general election, adding that the action caused disaffection among party chieftains from the North. He added that lack of internal democracy during its party primaries also caused a lot of disaffection in the party. He however said the party has learnt from their mistake and will make corrections in future

"There was impunity, imposition of candidates, breach of the zoning arrangement and lack of a level playing field for members. Make no mistakes, the PDP is aware that there were errors made along the way. We admit that at certain times in our past, mistakes have been made. We did not meet the expectations of Nigerians. We tender our apology. But the past is exactly what it is. We call on all party faithful, supporters and sympathizers to partner with us going forward.”he said....

Jose Mourinho’s sacking at Chelsea has led to all sort of plot twists and intrigue. Far from a routine results-oriented sacking, there was a lot more to Mourinho’s sacking than meets the eye, the conspiracy theorists insist. A narrative of a dressing room mutiny has persisted throughout the season, and ultimately proved to be Mourinho’s downfall – again if you believe in the smoke and mirrors stuff.
