Playcenter Nigeria Presents Face Off 2015

“Every year, Top Nigerian Celebrities gather to play basketball and compete with a Top Nigeria Basketball league team in a friendly game mixed with music and lots of fun.” 
Face Off is a creative blend of basketball, Music, Dance and all round entertainment facilitated by intensive media coverage across Nigeria as a medium to drive key social values amongst the young people in our society. 
 

It is also a movement to revive the interest of Basketball as an absolute urban sports genre, as well as a platform to relate with fans and give them an opportunity to experience different aspects of talent and skills as a source of inspiration to be all they can be.

The basketball event which holds annually will feature this year, a host of A-List Nigerian celebritiesvs. the popular basketball Team ‘Lagos Islanders’ showcasing their love for music and Basketball on the 27th of November 2015 at Landmark Centre, Lagos.

Celebrities that will be playing include, Sound Sultan, Tuface, Darey, Burna Boy, MI, Peter (PSquare), Kaffy, Iyanya, Jimmie, Praiz, N6, Vector and many more.
The event will start by 5pm and the main Celebrity Vs Islanders game jump ball will start off by 7pm. This event will also feature other games like, Celebrities vs. Basketball veterans, three point shooting competition, free throw competition, and a Slam Dunk contest.

It promises to be a night of fun, holding key prospects for personal branding and networking in lights of appearances by other major celebrities and organizations.

Earthquake Shakes Afghanistan, Pakistan And India

A 6.2-magnitude earthquake has struck northeast Afghanistan near the country’s borders with Pakistan and Tajikistan, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS), with tremors being felt as far as New Delhi. The USGS said Saturday morning’s earthquake, initially reported as magnitude 6.4, was at a depth of 203km and centred 82km southeast of the town of Feyzabad, capital of the Afghan province of Badakhshan.
