Buhari To Commission 40 Projects As Ogun Celebrates 40th Anniversary

The Ogun State government says 40 legacy projects which cut across the three senatorial districts of the state will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari during the 40th anniversary of the creation of Ogun State from the Old Western Region. The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa made this known on Friday  at a press briefing in Abeokuta, the state capital where programme for the celebration was unveiled by the government.

Among the projects expected to be commissioned in the state are the 110km Ilaro/Ijoun/Tombolo road which cuts across four Local Government Areas of Ogun West Senatorial Districts, the Ilo Awela road in Ota area, model schools, 750 hectares New Makun Estate in Sagamu, 50 hectares cashew plantation at Imeko Afon and 50 hectares palm plantation at Ipokia among others.
