The hate on Omoni Oboli & trailer of her new movie, Wives on Strike

Wives on Strike which would be debuting in Nigerian cinemas on the 8th of April 2016, is about a group of market women that take matters into their hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father. The women, who hilariously interpret their roles, set a series of events in motion to give the movie many moments of laughter without missing a beat on the reason for everyone to know why they are on strike. Wives On Strike, which features other prominent acts like Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Julius Agwu, Kalu Ikeagwu, Kenneth Okonkwo, Kehinde Bankole,Ufoma Mcdermot among other acts, further portrays how multi-dimensional Omoni has become with her movies.

From a honourable house wife, to a prostitute, to a village girl, and now the rural communal woman, Omoni Oboli, has shown the world that she is indeed a raw talent that can nail any identity at any point in time, even if she is a chic mother of 3 amazing boys, and still looking ever young at 37.

A narrative of a dressing room mutiny has persisted throughout the season, and ultimately proved to be Mourinho’s downfall – again if you believe in the smoke and mirrors stuff.
