Abuja shut down as celebrities storm Mallam Yankee's birthday bash

Kehinde Adegbite, popularly known as Mallam Yankee as well as the Jagaban of entertainment has added another year.

Like it has always been,  Mallam Yankee who is the CEO of the Bank Club Abuja will be hosting different celebrities at the Bank Club in Abuja as he marks his birthday this Saturday, 18 Feb. 2016.

The Saturday premium banking at the club will be dedicated to his birthday event. The birthday celebration that has already started literally shut down the ATM lounge just in front of The Bank on Monday.

Yankee has equally disclosed that a Novelty football match was being put together in celebration of his birthday.  ‘’ Team Yankee will be slogging it out with CKSC at the Millennium Park on Sunday, the 19th of February. Time is 4pm-6pm. I’m celebrating because I’m alive and doing just fine,’’ he said.

While commenting on Mallam Yankee’s birthday,  his publicist, Ali Adoyi  said,  ‘’The name, Mallam Yankee rings a bell across the country today, not only that he has created a unique brand, but has carved for himself a niche, and taken a road many entertainers can hardly go. Despite being a goal-getter, the risks he takes while doing his job is unprecedented.

‘’Mallam Yankee, is not only a social engineer who has transformed nightlife across the country, but a redesigner of investment. His investment in talents across the entertainment world is an obvious redefinition of selfless investment for the purpose of societal growth. This is why many Nigerian artistes were able to cross to the other side through him.

‘’The entertainment renaissance in Abuja after a long dark era has further justified the title of Jagaban of entertainment bestowed on this humble son of Adegbite.

''The transformation of nightlife in the city of Owerri, Imo State and other states across the country that had initially witnessed minimal patronage in entertainment has further justified the fact that nation building cuts across different facets of life. Indeed, Mallam Yankee is a nation builder.
‘’Having partnered to set up one of the best clubs in Africa, The bank, in Abuja, Mallam Yankee went further to put up another magnificent one in the city of Owerri, and named it Illusion. This is aside the launching of artists into the entertainment industry at various events.

‘’As an employer of labour who has engaged several young people in all his investments, Mallam Yankee is known to be one of the few contributing positively to the nation's economy.

‘’The CEO, The Bank club, has undoubtedly taken the road many have refused to take. He has found water in the desert, and has made the desert attractive to many who had undermined it.

''He is now shouldering the responsibility of Opa William’s Nite of a Thousand Laugh due to his experience and tenacity in the entertainment industry,’’ Adoyi said.

A narrative of a dressing room mutiny has persisted throughout the season, and ultimately proved to be Mourinho’s downfall – again if you believe in the smoke and mirrors stuff.
