Yesterday, there were reports that the Olumofin brothers, Joro and Dokun Olumofin were turned back from Toolz and Tunde Demuren's traditional wedding by the bride and groom's parents. The Ogun State government says 40 legacy projects which cut across the three senatorial districts of the state will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari during the 40th anniversary of the creation of Ogun State from the Old Western Region. The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa made this known on Friday  at a press briefing in Abeokuta, the state capital where programme for the celebration was unveiled by the government.

A former police officer convicted of raping and sexually victimizing women while on duty in a low-income Oklahoma City neighborhood was ordered Thursday to spend the rest of his life in prison. Jurors had recommended that Daniel Holtzclaw be sentenced to 263 years in prison for preying on women in 2013 and 2014.   District Judge Timothy Henderson agreed, said Holtzclaw will serve the terms consecutively and denied his request for an appeal bond.

A seemingly happy suburban father ‘snapped’ when he shot his wife and five-year-old daughter execution style before turning the gun on himself himself. Minnesota police this week closed the case involving David Crowley, 29, his dietitian wife Komel, 28, and their daughter Raniya whose decomposing bodies, completely ravaged by the family dog, were discovered by a neighbor in January of 2014.
